Hi y'all, it's me zeal. I just wanted to come on here and give like a Scripture for the day to hopefully encourage somebody this week and I hope that this helps you throughout your week a lot of us have probably Finished going to church this past Sunday and just need an extra little boost on Monday when everybody talks about they hate Mondays Okay, we're not gonna hate Mondays no more week. This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us redress and be glad There's something good on Mondays that can happen I hope this word helps you carry you through your week. There's so much going on in our world so many different random fears And so many things we that can grab our attention And we can forget especially as believers This is this is this is a word for the believers in Christ who have put their trust in Jesus who need to be encouraged Who might be fighting something who might be weary and well-doing who might just be heavy or even just you're going out on an Venture there's so many different projects I'm working on right now and sometimes I need to just encourage myself in the Lord and remind myself that fear is overrated so I wanted to read the scripture today Joshua 1 and Start at verse 5 and Just let it sink into your heart. So it says verse 5 no man Okay, wait, let's let's preface this. Hold on So this is about this is God talking to Joshua who took kind of like the mantle or the Responsibilities of Moses after Moses just died okay, and now Joshua who was right up under Moses as far as power and learning from him has now taken on the Responsibility of bringing the Israelites into the promised land and it's like, of course, that's a massive responsibility I mean, that's a bunch of people with a bunch of personalities And all this jazz so he has this new role and the Lord is speaking directly to him and he said No, man should be able to stand before you all the days of your life as I was with Moses So I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you be strong and of good courage verse 7 Only be strong and very courageous that you may observe to do according to all the law Which Moses my servant commanded you do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left that you may prosper Wherever you go in verse 8 is just talking about how we can just lean into the Lord says this book of the law shall not Depart from your mouth But you shall meditate in it day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it for then You will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success Have I not commanded you and this is a beautiful commandment Because when we're strong and courageous in the Lord fear has no chance when we are looking to Christ everything that we Overdo in our brain as far as oh, this is gonna happen. That's gonna happen God can come in and strip away those fears and strip away those thoughts Haven't I have I not commanded you verse 9 be strong and of good courage Do not be afraid nor be dismayed for the Lord your God If you've chosen Jesus as your Savior the Lord your God is with you wherever you go I Hope that encourages somebody today. I just I've been on this journey of just addressing all the fears I have in life I used to have social anxiety I'm naturally an introvert some people can't believe that because I'm so goofy and crazy and loud and all these different random thoughts where I'm like What is the truth? The truth of the matter is I don't have to fear anything or anyone I have power love and in us in a sound mind not the spirit of fear and the Lord my God Because he is my God and I am his people because I've chosen to serve Jesus if that's your testimony and if that's your life He will go with me and with you wherever you go. Whether it's a fear of spiders. I I Have a fear of spiders whether it's a fear of talking to somebody that you need to talk to to gain access or whether it's the fear of Admitting a wrong that you've done or something that you've done against somebody whatever the fear is You do not have to fear God is not giving you the spirit of fear Go in power love in a sound mind be of good courage put your trust in Jesus We can walk in authority and power today right now and people need to see the peace of God in our lives He is real. He is still God and God alone never changing I hope that encourages somebody and gives you peace not to it's not condemning anyone It's not saying. Oh, how could you ever have fear and something like it's just when we feel the fear Let's just walk through it let's do it afraid people say do whatever God has called you to do even if you're afraid God is with you wherever you go.
