What's up, everybody? Thank you so much for coming on here today. My name is Zeal, and I just wanted to impart some word to you, a little revelation that the Lord was giving me concerning his word in James chapter three, verses 13 through 18. So I'm gonna read it kind of fast, but there's one particular area I've kind of wanted to slow down on and touch on. So the way they titled it in my Bible, it says heavenly versus demonic wisdom. So when we don't know the word of God or we're trying to mix in things that sound good to the ear or feels like that's love or that's kindness or that's the truth or whatever, but it's not lining up with the word of God, that can be considered demonic wisdom. So let's read together verse 13 in chapter three. Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. So meekness being humble, okay, of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but it's earthly, sensual, demonic, okay? And it's very clear, you know, if you're self-seeking and the first thing that you wanna do is make sure that you're okay, you're not looking out for your brother or sister in Christ, you're not worried about other people, you're not praying and all this other kind of stuff. I have to check myself sometimes too, because I'm like, ooh, I don't pray enough for people or I'm not, you know, I'm not concerned about other people's problems as much as my own and I can get so engulfed in myself, which for me causes me to fall into depression sometimes or just feel heavy or get anxious and entertain anxiety and things like that. But it makes sense because when you go to verse 16, it says, for where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. That's the part I really wanted to touch on. When we entertain our own anxieties in the sense of, we always are thinking about ourselves and what other people are thinking about us and we rarely pray for somebody else or try to help somebody else or we're not worried about those who are less fortunate or just always thinking about ourselves and being self-seeking or having envy and hating on somebody else, confusion and every evil thing are allowed to be there because we're supposed to think of others, we're supposed to love the Lord God with our whole heart, soul, mind and strength and love our neighbor as ourselves. Meaning as much as we love ourselves and we put all this time in, we're supposed to love our neighbors the same way. Feels and sounds impossible because then we're perfect, right? Because that's perfect love. But that's where God wants us to start gearing our minds, like changing our minds, renewing our minds and transforming our minds into that kind of love and that type of behavior, amen? So when we have all this self-seeking, and this is where our world is, where social media and all that is all about selfies and all about self and look at what I'm doing and all that stuff. And I'm not saying I don't post, but having a balance in self. You know what I'm trying to say? Y'all know what I'm trying to say. But verse 17 says, but the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits without partiality. Like we're not looking at somebody like, oh, they probably, and we don't know anything about them. There's no partiality, right? We're not judging other people just based on their appearance, right? And without hypocrisy. Verse 18, now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. So anyway, that's just what I wanted to touch on today. What are we allowing in the spiritual realm to attack us based off of our self-seeking or our pride or not being willing to yield or not thinking of others higher than ourselves or not trying to operate in peace, but we just want to argue and fight. In what ways are we inviting demonic warfare in our lives because of these things? And I challenge myself as well. What have I given into because of my flesh wants to be in control, right? Anyway, that's it today. I love you so much. Go out there and release the zeal you have for the Lord. I love you. Until next time, bye.
