Hey friends, I was sitting here thinking about forgiveness and I wanted to share with you today that forgiveness is a powerful gift that God has given to us. So I want you to explore the beauty of forgiving others and experiencing the freedom that it brings to our hearts. There's incredible verse from scripture that says, bear with each other and forgive one another. If any of you has a grievance against someone, forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3 13. It does not say forgive because the Lord forgave you. It says forgive as the Lord forgave you. There's a lot that I could say. There's a lot that I want to say, but what I want you to do is to think about that. Is there a difference between those two? Forgive because or forgive as. For me, as I read that, I see that very differently. And what Paul is calling us to in Colossians 3 is the act of God to forgive as God has forgiven us, which is different than forgiving because God forgave us. Wrestle with that, meditate on that, pray over that, let that work inside of your spirit. And I hope beyond all things, you're encouraged by that, you're challenged by that, and you're blessed by that. Be great today.
