Let's take a look at the things that we need to work out while addressing how to deal with others we have differences with. Humility is a great asset we can use to come from a place of love and understanding.

What's up, everybody? Thank you so much for clicking on this video today. My name is Zeal, and I'm so excited that you're here. I just wanted to dive into the word today and just get a different perspective or think about our perspectives about ourselves and our lives and the plank in our eyes and the things that we have going on that we need to work out and how we perceive others and the things that they need to work out and where can we meet in the middle to iron sharpen iron and hold each other accountable and yet not get so big-headed in our walk and think we're better than and things like that. So what I wanted to touch on was Luke chapter 18 verse 9 and every time I speak is a challenge for others and for myself to just check my heart and where I'm at as a soldier of Christ, as a daughter of Christ, as a follower of Jesus to just am I shining my light or am I dimming it by my mindset with other people around me? So here we go. All right. So verse 9, it says also he, meaning Jesus, spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves. Okay, that alone who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and despised others. Yo. Okay, that's a lot. You know what I'm saying? I was really trying to just get through and like I feel like I need to stop right here. When we trust that we're good and we're just basing it off of well, like, you know, you know, I remember I did this and I feel good today. You know, I prayed, I fasted and you know, I'm in consecration and I'll be reading the Bible and stuff. It's just like, okay, cool. But are you talking to the Lord? Are you coming to him humbly asking Lord cleanse me? I don't know if there is sin that I might have done today, but God I come to you humbly and as your daughter or son in Christ and I just want to follow you. Well, I love you Jesus, right? A more humble posture. I have to check myself sometimes on that too. Okay, here we go. So he spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and despised others. Okay, verse 10. Two men went up to the temple to pray. One a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself. God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, and even this tax collector over here. I fast twice a week. I give my tithes and all that I possess and the tax collector standing afar off would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven. But he beat his breast saying God be merciful to me. I'm a sinner. I'm a sinner Lord. I tell you these men went down or I tell you this man went down to his house justified rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself. Hmm. I'm guilty of that y'all. I am guilty of that. Everyone who exalts himself. Thinking we're so good. Thank you. Oh, I'm a good person. I did this Lord. Are you aren't you proud of me? You know, sometimes you know God is proud of you, but it's a heart posture that I'm getting at. You know what I'm saying for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled and he who humbles himself will be exalted. I rather I humble myself before God comes in and humbles me and I'm saying so I love that scripture because we all need to remember that we should come. We should come humbly in every situation not comparing ourselves. Like I know I've walked with you Lord. I know how to fast I know how to you know, I know what I'm doing and then there's sometimes where we can encourage the body. Yes, we could encourage the body like you guys we should probably fast something's not breaking something's not moving. We need to you know what I'm saying? Let's ask for forgiveness right now because and it's how we deliver the truth in love because we can deliver the truth in love but to cast judgment and think we're better than someone else because of the things that we're doing for Christ or the maturity we may have in the Lord is not the heart posture God wants for us. Sometimes people just need a little bit of love and compassion and patience in their walk. Amen. So anyway, I hope you go out there and release the zeal you have for Jesus. I love you so much and until next time bye.
