Hi everybody, my name is Zeal. Thank you so much for tuning in again today. I'm so excited to share this message with you guys. It comes from Hebrews. I'm gonna read from chapter 12 verse 1 through 2. I'm gonna start there, but leading up to that it talks about how by faith there's so many people in the Word of God that were able to read about who stood firm in their faith with the Lord and by faith they overcame. By faith they overcame the cares of the world. By faith they were able to fulfill their mission that God put them on. By faith they trusted in the Lord and he came through even if it wasn't in their generation. He still kept his promise and the next generations were able to see the promises of the Lord come to pass. But this is the victory that we can stand on, right? This is the victory that proves beyond the time of this world that God is faithful and he's God and God alone. So I wanted to read this and for those of you that are dealing with anxiety or unsure things happening in your life or just stresses of the world, that's where I wanted to start with verse 1 and 2 from chapter 12 in Hebrews. So here we go. It says, therefore we also since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, the angels are watching us, right? Let us lay aside every weight. So easy to do, right? That's so simple. Like let's lay aside every weight. It's a retraining of our brain, right? To really fully trust in the Lord and it's a day-by-day growing in him. But let us lay aside every weight. The things we can't control, the things that are out of our hands, which basically everything is. Our next breath is not in our hands, right? That should help us remember that we don't have to carry these burdens. We can't even promise ourselves tomorrow. So why don't we give our tomorrows to the Lord? Let's give our today, our now to the Lord, right? Let us lay aside every weight in the sin which easily ensnares us. We don't have to entertain that as God's people. And let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, right? Verse two, looking to Jesus. That's the only way we can really run this race is looking to Jesus, abiding in him, staying close to him in his word, the author and the finisher of our faith, who for the joy, joy is our strength, for the joy that was set before him. He was able to endure the cross, the cross, the agony, the beating, the being persecuted when he was perfect. He was able to endure the cross because the joy that was set before him, knowing that the kingdom of heaven was at hand, the kingdom of heaven was being released to the people through his spirit after he rose from the grave. He knew we needed his spirit. He knew we needed him in a different way. He knew we needed the victory for the veil to be torn between us and God, right? So the joy of redeeming us and loving us in that way was set before him and that gave him his strength. He despised the shame and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. So for us as heirs to the throne, when we've accepted Jesus as our Savior, we are heirs to the throne of God and we have the same victory through Jesus that this is not our home. This is not our home. We can endure our cross, whatever our burdens are set before us, because we are looking to the kingdom and the joy set before us of others to know the Lord and that should encourage us to keep going for the kingdom of God and I hope that blesses you today where I don't know what you're going through. I don't know who's sick in the hospital. I don't know what bills are behind. I don't know what agony you're feeling in your body as far as aches and pains and illness yourself. I don't know what's going on with your children or your spouse. I don't know, but I do know that through Jesus he has overcome the world. This is not our home. Don't give up. Seek his face and just abide in him. When the waves come and they overwhelm you, just seek Jesus. He is there for you and he will never leave you or forsake you. I love you. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day. Bye.
