Today I talk about my health goals but also the broader concept of setting goals and committing to them. Perseverance in the face of obstacles leads to ultimate victory.

Good morning, family. The Wisdom Doctor here. You caught me on getting ready to do my morning run and I had a thought that I wanted to share with you as I'm about to start in on a few miles. Of course, we do this for health reasons and some to keep it toned up and stay in shape and that sort of thing. But nonetheless, whatever the reason is that you would get into to getting your run on, if you will, there's always the end goal. There's always the end goal. And so one of the things I want to lift this morning is the fact of committing to completion. Now, personally, there's about 20 pounds I need to lose. I just had the desire to get a little lighter on my feet, if you will. I still got a little dancing in my shoes. So I wanted to feel a little lighter that I can do that a little much easier than I have been. So my goal is about 20 pounds down. And I thought about committing. How is it that you stay committed, especially when all of the forces are against you? All the times when you make plans, especially when it has to do with the righteousness and to do good and to be better, then many times conflict comes, obstacles come, time restraints come. And I want to encourage you today to stay the course, stay the course, if you will. The thing about staying the course is if you stay in it, then you can ultimately make, let me just say, make certain that you're going to get to the end. Here's what happens. All the time we can't see ourselves having achieved the goal that we've set. And so my encouragement to you today is, is see yourself in the victory circle. See yourself in the winner's circle. Make sure you can see yourself with the ring on, with the belt on, or with the crown, whatever that winner's circle would produce for you. You have to be able to see yourself there. Vision is important. And so here's how the Lord put it. He says that he who has started a good work in you is able, faithful, and just to bring that thing to pass. I want you to know, stay committed family, stay committed to it and watch God bring you into your success and your victory. I want you to be blessed on today. Don't start a thing and not finish it. Once you put your hand to it, make sure you're committed to completion. I love you all. Be blessed on today and we'll talk at you later. This is the Wisdom Doctor and I want you to be blessed.
