I wrestled with running and struggled with running for a very long time. But I understand the good that running does for me in the long run. And I compare that to even our relationship with God, right? That I think a true relationship with God is when you wrestle with the weaknesses that you're going through. And you tell God that. And that's why I love the book of Psalms. If you think about the book of Psalms, there's always these three stanzas, right? The first stanza is the guy, the girl, or whoever it is, is complaining. Secondly, there's this request. And then thirdly, there's this thanksgiving that God somehow hears their prayer. And that's what I think about my own struggles and my own things that I'm wrestling with is that I bring that up to God as authentic as possible. And through that, through faith, I believe that He's hearing my prayers and He honors them, right? And with that, with our struggles, and when we bring it up to God, we know how much good comes out of it, right? Because as we gradually can go to God with our struggles and what we're wrestling with in life, I think that's what the scripture says in first Corinthians, in first Corinthians, we put on the mind of Christ. We get reminded that we are identity and our life is now in Christ. And when we give ourselves up to Christ and His stewardship and His guidance, we're going to gradually continuously grow in our life. It's going to be hard. It's going to be difficult. But it also is what's best for us. And we put on this mind of Christ. And once we put on the identity of Christ, we come to realize that there's so much life that God wants to give us. And He wants to journey along side with us. And when we have this true, authentic relationship with Him. So if you're struggling with something, if you're wrestling with something, or if you're just like me, just don't like running, give it up to God. Tell God that. Tell God that. And through His strength and through His grace, He will get you through.
