What's up everybody? Thank you so much for tuning in today. My name is Zeal and I'm just coming with the word. I hope you guys enjoy it. Today is coming from 1 Timothy chapter 4 verses 12 through 16. Okay, so I'm going to read it out. Here we go. It says, let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word and conduct and love and spirit and faith and purity. That's verse 12. But the first part that I wanted to really touch on to lead into the other verses was let no one despise your youth. Okay, really, I believe is talking about younger people, you know, teenagers or whatever else that are trying to get into ministry, like go forth in the Lord. Let you know, begin to train yourself to hear his voice and to just lean on him and abide in him and grow in him in ways that were later in life. Later in life, you can't be shaken, right? But something hit me recently where I wonder if God also meant or maybe I'm taking liberties here for youth, something that you're new at. Because what if you're 45 years old or you're in your 50s and you just get saved or you're in your 60s and God is saying, I have a new assignment for you and you feel like you're out of the water. You feel like you're having an imposter syndrome, like you don't belong, you know, everybody else is better at this than you. And you're just like, oh, I don't know if I'm good enough. You know, you're despising the youthfulness or the newness in this season of youth not feeling equipped. So maybe you're actually a young person or it's just something new in your life. It says, let no one despise your youth. I'm just going to say, what if it can mean that too for your new assignment and you don't feel equipped, but be an example to the believers in word and conduct and love and faith and spirit and faith and purity. Right. Till I come, give attention to reading and exhortation to doctrine. Do not neglect the gift that is in you, whatever age you are, whatever stage you're in, whatever assignment it is. Don't neglect the gift or the gifts that are in you, which were given to you by prophecy with the laying on of hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things. Give yourself entirely to them that your progress may be evident to all. Give yourself fully into the ministry that God has called you to do fully into the assignment. You never know what God is really trying to do. He is the beginning and the end, not us. So just being obedient is so crucial and beautiful. Meditate on those things. Give yourself entirely to them. We don't have to fear. God got us. He told us to do it. So let's go and do it. Right. That your progress may be evident to all. Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine, the word. Continue in them for in doing this, you will save both yourselves and those who hear you. Don't despise your youth. Don't despise small beginnings. Don't despise small beginnings. Don't look at it as, oh, I'm not equipped or what. Moses felt the same way. He's like, I don't speak well. I can't lead thousands of people into victory and into this new land. Like, who am I? You know, I I used to be, you know, one of their rulers in a sense, because, you know, he wasn't one of the slaves, even though he should have been in a way based off of his genealogy and everything. But he just followed through. And yes, it was a fight. But after he said yes, the deliverance of God's people was able to happen. Was he equipped? Nobody's technically equipped. God has gifted us. God has given us our every breath. God has given us all that we need pertaining to life and godliness. Right. So we don't have to fear. Are we ready if we know God is calling us to do something? Don't despise your small beginnings. Don't despise your youth. But go forth in power, in love and in God's spirit. I hope that encourages somebody today.
