Hey, good morning everybody. Today I'm in our CAB, that stands for Christian Activities Building. We're getting some things ready for our Upward Basketball and cheerleading season. I know we're in the middle of football season, but all that's going to be coming soon. And we really put a lot of energy and effort into our Upward Basketball and cheerleading. And it's not about the sports. What it's about is the family. And that's what I want to encourage you this morning. Worship together as a family. Study after study has shown that when mom, dad, and kids all worship together, all go to Sunday school, all go to worship, Wednesday night activity, whatever it is your church may be. If you don't have one, man, we invite you to come here and be a part of this one. Because God, before God created the church, He created the family. And the most important things for our kids is for them to see us as mom and dad worshiping, and us doing it together. So I really want to encourage you this morning to think and pray through making sure that you're going through this faith journey together as a family. Because again, we put a lot of energy and effort into this, and in our Wednesday night activities, and our truck or treat here at our church is coming up in a few weeks, and Vacation Bible School is huge. Again, we love kids, but we know that by serving the kids, we can get a hold of mom and dad. And listen, men, dad, you are the key. When dad is following Jesus, 95% of the time, study after study has shown, that when dad follows Jesus, 95% of the time, the rest of the family will follow Jesus. So that's when I get up and speak at our Upward programs, I'm talking to the men. I'm talking to the dads. I'm talking to guys just like me, that our family will follow us. So if you're a mom or dad watching this, or even a grandparent watching this, I want to encourage you today, be a person of prayer, be in the Word, and lead your family and worship together as a family.
