Faithbase

Well, good morning everybody. Our Bible verse for today is Romans chapter 8 verses 26 and 27. In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weakness. For we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words. And he who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because he intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. I was actually talking with one of our church members not too long ago about this verse. This person is going through a lot of stuff. They got a lot of things on their heart from personal things, financial things, all the normal stuff we deal with in life, and they didn't really know the words to pray. They had the feeling. They had that that spiritual discernment, but they didn't know the words. And we talked about this passage right here in Romans that we have a God that loves us so much that is so connected with our hearts and our minds that when we are hurting and in pain or frustrated or confused just going through life and we don't know the words, I want to encourage you today that the Holy Spirit knows the words. That he knows what you need. He knows how to love you. He knows how to encourage you. He knows how to give you endurance and strength to get from one day to the next. So even if you don't know the words today, still pray. Just literally say that, Lord, I don't have the words to express it, but you know. So I want to encourage you today, continue to pray. Continue to reach out because he knows the words and he knows what's best for you today.
