Faithbase

Hey folks, I wanted to share with you a conversation that I had not too long ago leaving the hospital, I was visiting with somebody and frankly the person I was visiting isn't doing well it doesn't look like they may recover so we had the conversation is it a lack of faith to prepare for the worst? because sometimes we define faith as in not acknowledging something bad is going to happen I have faith, we have faith that God can heal that person we prayed, every time I prayed for somebody at the hospital I acknowledged that Jesus is the great physician and he can heal anybody so if we have faith, does that mean that we don't need to prepare as though he's not going to heal? do we need to prepare as though that person is going to get well, get ready for them to get home start lining up rehab, all that stuff if we start preparing as though that person is going to pass away does that show a lack of faith on our end? and I had to say, no, it's not a lack of faith because it doesn't mean that we don't believe that Christ can do it, and he may do it but here's the thing that we have to understand we pray and ask God to heal the people that we love if it is his will to do so sometimes it's not his will to do so coming in November, my father will have been gone 12 years me and my family prayed that my father would get well the Lord took him home, he did get well, he got completely well so if you're struggling with faith, but also planning and preparing for the worst don't let Satan tell you that you have a lack of faith because us preparing for possible outcomes of these situations doesn't mean that we don't believe God is still sovereign, God is still in control so have faith today, be encouraged know that God is in control and it's okay to plan, it's okay to prepare God bless, if there's any way that I can pray for you or anything I can do for you please just shoot me a message, I'd love to be able to do that
