Hey, good morning everybody. Today I'm going to read from Romans chapter 5 verses 5 through 8. For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For the mind is set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. Because the mind set on the flesh is hostile towards God, for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so. And those who are in the flesh cannot please God. You know, Paul paints a picture for us right here of basically two different directions we can set our minds on. Today you have the choice, you have the freedom to be able to set your minds on the things of the flesh, the things of self, your pains, your hurts, your issues, your problems, as legitimate as those things are. You can allow them to, as the old saying goes, live rent-free in your mind all day today, or you can set your mind on the things of God. That you can make, you can make the promise right now this morning that today, man, I'm gonna set my mind on the things of God. I'm gonna set my mind on the fact that He's given me freedom, the fact that He's given me grace and forgiveness and mercy, and I'm gonna use that freedom to love and serve others today. So I want to encourage you today, set your mind on the things of God. Set your mind on how to serve somebody else, how to love somebody else. It doesn't mean that you don't take your issues serious. It doesn't mean that all the things that are burdened on you aren't important. They are, but let's try today to love somebody else, to set our minds on the things of Christ, to set our minds on the growth of the gospel and the kingdom of God. Listen, if you have anything I can pray for you about, put it in the comments there. We'd love to pray for you, serve you in any way we can. God bless. Have a great day today.
