Romans chapter 8 verses 1 & 2. Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. Good morning everybody. Now I wanted to start with one of my favorite chapters in the Bible, Romans chapter 8, because it's all about freedom. It's all about understanding the reason that Jesus came to earth was to free us of our greatest oppression. And sometimes when we think about that we think about politics or health or finances and all those things are completely legitimate. But our greatest oppression in life is something called sin. And that Jesus came to free us from that sin. Paul uses that word there's now no condemnation. And that word means guilt. That you can stand before God guilt-free. You can stand before God innocent. Because Jesus came to deliver you from that sin and bring freedom into your life. So that's why I want to encourage you this morning to understand who you are in Christ, the freedom that you have in him, how much he loves you, how much he cares about you, and that our lives are to reflect that freedom. And listen, if you're watching this and you're not sure whether or not you've experienced that freedom, please message. Please ask questions. If we can pray for you and help you to live in freedom better, you can comment on here and we would love to be able to pray for you. But my prayer, my goal for us as we go through Romans chapter 8 is that we learn the beauty of the freedom that we have in Jesus. May God bless you guys. Have a great day today.
