Hey good morning everybody. I wanted to send you a video a little bit of what pastors do. Today's Wednesday and one of the things that I like to do is go to the hospitals. I like to do hospital visits on Wednesday mornings because on Wednesday nights we have Bible study prayer and it gives me time to update people and be able to pray for each other effectively. I'm shooting this video from inside my truck right now because I'm at a hospital called UAB Highlands which is kind of in the middle of UAB University and all those places and there's people everywhere so I don't want to make them feel weird shooting a video outside but I'm at UAB Highlands right now about to go visit a good friend and then when I leave here I'm going to go to another hospital here in downtown Birmingham called St. Vincent's East. Well now I'm at St. Vincent's Hospital one of the great hospitals we have here in the Birmingham area. I wanted to show you guys this wonderful view from the parking deck so now I'm going to go inside and visit with a wonderful lady from our church who is here at St. Vincent's downtown. Again another wonderful hospital we have here in the Birmingham area. Alright so I just left the hospital room of the lady I'm visiting here at St. Vincent's East and now I'm about to grab some lunch and head back to the office and get ready for all the stuff we do on Wednesday afternoons. We've got staff meeting and Bible studies and that kind of stuff but I just want to give you guys a glimpse of what I do on Wednesday mornings. That's the day that I definitely go to the hospitals and try to visit with people and pray with people. Of course I go to the hospitals as needed that's just a big part of the job of what in my opinion a big part of the job of what pastors do. You have the preaching aspect of it and you have the pastor aspect of it and being with people when they're hurting having surgeries and in need at the hospital to me that's a big part of it. So just wanted to give you guys a glimpse of what we do as pastors and hospital visits.
