What's going on everyone? I hope that you're having an amazing week. I hope that your day has been blessed and I pray that if not then maybe this word of encouragement will be a blessing to you. This past weekend we celebrated my daughter's birthday and what I started to reflect on is how much I truly love my kids. You see, no matter what they do, no matter the mistakes they may make or the accomplishments that they may achieve, I will always love them. I will always be their biggest fan. I will always be in their corner. You see, because they are my kids and to me they are perfect. They are perfectly made for my wife and I. They are incredible kids. They are loving. They are kind. They are full of joy. They are just some of God's true blessings to us. And so I started to think about how it just truly breaks my heart when I hear someone say, oh man it's like I'm stupid or I'm such a bonehead or I'm just a disappointment or all of these negative things. And so it started to really resonate of how God views us. And I would hope that you would start to see yourself as God sees you. You see, we're created in his image. So if we're created in his image and God is the all-powerful, all-knowing, incredible God. If he is the light of the world, then what does that make us? It makes us his children. It makes us a reflection of him. So God is knowledgeable. So that means we are knowledgeable. God is not stupid. And so that means we are not stupid. Let us not criticize ourselves. Let us not beat ourselves down. You see, because the world has enough of that. The world will tell you what you are, what you can't be, what you can't do. Let us encourage ourselves. Let us fight and push back against those things that the world may say about us. And let us stop and see ourselves the way God sees us. God sees us whole. God sees us as his reflection. He said, David is a man after his own heart. Let us strive to just be that. Just be God's kids. You see, no matter the mistakes that we may make, God is standing right there. No matter how far we try to run away from him, God is standing right there with open arms. You see, no matter what, there's nothing that can separate us from God's love. There's nothing in this world that can make God stop loving you, even if you stop loving him. You see, just like the prodigal son that ran off and squandered the father's money and was just living in such a bad situation that he said, even the servants in my father's house live better than this. So he decided to go back home. And on the way back home, his father saw him in the distance. And he was so overjoyed because he said, my son was dead, but now he is alive. He is back home. And he went and got the biggest robe. He got the ring. And they sacrificed the biggest calf to be able to celebrate his son coming home. You see, the father never stopped loving the son. No matter what he did, no matter what he may have squandered, the father never stopped loving the son. And God will never stop loving you. And so I hope, I pray that you see yourself, even if it takes some verbal affirmations, write them down. I am whole. I am love. I am peace. I am patient. I am kind. I have a good heart. I have a beautiful smile. I have a sense of peace around me. People enjoy being around me. Write those things down. Write those I am statements. So that way you can remind yourself every day that you are created in the image of the Almighty God. And so because of that, you are an incredible creation. You are a masterpiece. There's no one else here on this earth, or anywhere else in this universe that has your fingerprints. You are one of a kind. Picasso could not have painted someone like you because you are God's creation. I love you guys. I pray that this message blesses you. And if you are struggling with this, please hit us up.
