Finding joy day eight, the beans or the background. Paul wrote a letter to young believers in Rome. He sought to encourage them in the faith and remind them how it is that they can grow in their walk of faith. The verse Romans chapter 10 verse 17. So faith comes from hearing and hearing through the word of Christ, the steam. What does this mean to me and how can I apply it to my life today? True, genuine, can't be described, joy comes from Jesus. Yes, we may find temporary happiness in the things of this world, but they are never enough to sustain us. What we need is unshakable joy that comes through our faith in Jesus. Faith is the key to it all. To really build our faith, we must get still, get quiet before God so that he can whisper the truth our hearts need to hear, so that he can fill our hearts with the joy that we need. Do you make it a priority each and every day to get quiet before God? I understand life is anything but silent. However, practicing the art of silence is an amazing way to hear from God. Make it a priority to try and practice silence today. Thank you.
