Embracing His Peace, Day One. The Beams, or the Background. Paul wrote a letter to Gentile believers in the church in Colossia. He wrote to encourage on how to live and treat one another as members of the body of believers. The verse, Colossians 3, verse 15, Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you are called to peace, and be thankful. The Steem. What does this mean to me and how can I apply it to my life today? God placed special people in your life. He blessed you with other members of His family who make life worthwhile. These special people could be your spouse, your children, your parents or siblings, your neighbors, friends, church family, work colleagues. And these special people are some of the greatest sources of peace in your life. Whether they are helping you in a time of need, providing the shoulder you need to cry on, or celebrating all of life's happy moments with you, they are filling you with the peace that you need. Reflect for a moment on who these people are in your life. How do they bring you peace? And how could you bring them peace in return?
