Faithbase

Well, it happens to everybody. Have you ever left the woods and you just, man, you just kind of feel defeated. You didn't see anything. You didn't hear anything. Like you put all this time in, the cameras, the scouting, the bay piles, got the right weapons, camo, like you did all the things right. And it just didn't happen. And then you remember that God's word says that in everything give thanks. And so sometimes we just have to stop and we have to remember that as we enjoy the outdoors, being able to harvest something is just one part of enjoying the outdoors. But what I forgot to be thankful for was the time that I had just sitting in the stand, praying and thanking God and reflecting back on my blessings and the blessing of being able to sit in a deer stand. In everything, give thanks. Look, I don't know what you're going through tonight. I'm sure that it probably is more than not seeing a deer. Whatever it is, remember to give thanks. Remember to honor God and love Him and He'll bless you.
